ICanHear

Improved Communication through Applied Hearing” (ICanHear). The ICanHear project focuses on state of the art hearing research, but the organizers of the project also believe that it is an important skill for the hearing researchers to be able to communicate the research to ‘non experts’. That is why there in the project is an number of activities to develop these skills and this video is an example of that.

ICanHear develops models based on emerging knowledge about higher-level processing within the auditory pathway and exploit that knowledge to develop creative solutions that will improve the performance of hearing instruments. New signal processing methods will be implemented on a unified open signal processing platform and will be evaluated in terms of user benefits on common evaluation scenarios and data bases.
