Center for Magnetic Resonance and its Center of Excellence, HYPERMAG, are looking for a new student worker.

HYPERMAG and CMR's current student worker will hand in his master thesis shortly, and we are looking for his replacement.

Primary tasks are: Collection of liquid nitrogen from DTU Danchip 1-2 times a week, filling our polarizers, autoclaving of labware from our cell lab and managing inventory of our chemical stock.

Baseline is approximately 4-5 hours a week. The work is not difficult but requires a little strength, technical savvy and that instructions are followed meticulously. We depend on a smooth collaboration with DTU Danchip and the weekly filling of our magnets is highly critical for our operation, so you need to be reliable, steady and able to plan your work.

About HYPERMAG and CMR

HYPERMAG (Center for Hyperpolarization in Magnetic Resonance) is a Center of Excellence funded by Danish National Research Foundation. HYPERMAG is dedicated to hyperpolarization research and its translation into new applications in medicine, biology and chemistry. Hyperpolarization is a novel technology providing a significant enhancement of the MR signal, opening a window into the metabolic processes of living organisms.

 

CMR (Center for Magnetic Resonance) is a research group at Technical University of Denmark, Department of Electrical Engineering. We conduct reseach and teaching within the field of MR Imaging and Spectroscopy. We work with MR from different angles, most notably hyperpolarization technology and applications, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Acquisition Methodology, Neurophysics, and High-Field Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
